LUDHIANA: With the onset of summer, civic officials are reminded of the deficient state of overhead water tanks within the city, and have made up our minds to get 20 such tanks repaired. In some areas, low water drive troubles citizens in summer when the demand for water will increase, and overhead reservoirs create additional drive for water provide.
In this regard, a meeting was once performed by means of civic officials on Tuesday, where they requested the group of workers involved to get the tanks repaired as soon as conceivable, so that they may use them. Officials also mentioned the issue of tracing homeowners of vacant plots in areas where water provide traces have been laid beneath the Amrut (Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation) scheme, but since homeowners aren't to be had, officials are not able to present connections to the plots.
To solve this problem, officials have made up our minds to write down a letter to the MC’s development branch with a request to note down the main points of those plots, and in long run when the homeowners come for development plan approval, then the charges could be recovered from them. MC superintending engineer Ravinder Garg confirmed the transfer and stated they'd get reservoirs repaired, so that water provide will have to now not transform an issue in summer.
