NEW DELHI: BJD president and leader minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday picked media baron Soumya Ranjan Patnaik and KIIT and KISS founder Achyuta Samanta as party’s nominee for Rajya Sabha, hours after inducting each into the party.
Senior leader Prasanta Nanda, who played a significant function in party’s victory in Bijepur byelection, may be rewarded with a Rajya Sabha berth. Naveen announced names of the BJD nominees here at his place of abode.
