BHUBANESWAR: The state government has announced that it will supply ‘Special Incentive’ to scientific officials of Odisha Medical and Health Services Cadre having diploma, post graduate (PG) and super specialist level.
A scientific officer possessing super specialist level within the involved disciplines from a recognized university might be entitled for special incentive equal to the sum of 4 increments in his present scale of pay.
Similarly, the officer possessing PG level within the involved disciplines from a recognized university will get 3 increments in his/her present scale of pay, while officials with diploma level will get two increments.
The special incentive might be granted prospectively to these level holders, who've by no means been granted with advance increment/ lump sum benefits in any form as was used to be in trend before abolition of these benefits in 1998. It will come into impact at the first of the month of the problem of this notification.
