Tirupur: Police arrested a 65-year-old guy for impregnating a minor lady, who used to be found to be six months pregnant, close to Dharapuram here on Saturday. They have also arrested a 25-year-old guy, who also raped the woman several instances.
The 17-year-old sufferer, a category X scholar, had lost her mother a couple of months in the past, police assets mentioned. “The sordid affair got here to light after the woman complained of abdomen pain. Some of her kinfolk took her to the Tirupur Government Hospital for scientific examination. Doctors there confirmed that she used to be pregnant,” a police officer mentioned.
Shocked over the problem, the woman’s father lodged a grievance with Dharapuram All ladies police. During police inquiry, the woman printed that she used to be in a dating with 25-year-old Manoj Kumar, a tractor driver. Manoj told police that the woman’s neighbour Moses, who used to be also her father’s uncle, had impregnated her.
“After finding out concerning the dating between the woman and Manoj, Moses threatened her saying that he would inform her father and kinfolk concerning the dating. Subsequently, the man, who used to be operating as a vegetable seller, and Manoj raped her several instances. The lady used to be too nervous to reveal it to any individual else,” the officer added.
