Bengaluru: The guy who attempted to homicide Lokayukta P Vishwanatha Shetty in his chambers closing week threatened the latter’s legit who rushed in listening to the previous pass judgement on’s screams.
“I heard screams within two-three mins of Tejraj Sharma coming into the chamber. I opened the door and found Sharma retaining the Lokayukta from in the back of with a knife in his proper hand. I could see the Lokayukta bleeding from his abdomen. Sharma brandished his knife and instructed him to not pass near him,” Lokayukta’s Dalayat Ok Palani mentioned in the FIR.
Palani, who was on responsibility on the Lokayukta’s chambers on March 7, was tasked with informing Justice Shetty about his visitors and permitting them to meet him.
According to the FIR, Sharma got here to meet the Lokayukta in his chamber round 1pm, and Palani handed over the slip citing Sharma’s title to Justice Shetty.
After a few mins, Shetty asked Palani to send Sharma inside. Shrama entered the chamber round 1.45pm retaining some papers and within mins Justice Shetty was heard screaming.
“I called gunman Purushotham, Suresh and Dalayat Chidambaram. They rushed in; Suresh and Purushotham controlled to hold Sharma and Chidambaram checked at the Lokayukta. I found accidents at the Lokayukta’s forehead, left palm, left portion of his abdomen and chest,” he was quoted as announcing in the FIR.
Justice Shetty, in the meantime, is doing neatly and is also discharged in any other 2-Three days, Mallya Hospital medical doctors mentioned.
