ROURKELA: The village of Pamara in Bargaon block of Sundargarh district on Saturday performed host to a singular marriage ceremony where a man helped solemnise the wedding of his spouse together with her lover, slightly six days after his own organized marriage ceremony together with her.

A local of Pamara, 28-year-old Basudeb Tappo had married a 24-year-old lady from Jharsuguda’s Debdihi village on March 4. The marriage ceremony had taken position in step with the rituals of the farmer group to which Tappo belonged and had no criminal sanction.
