KANPUR: A 27-year-old girl on Monday allegedly tried suicide via consuming some poisonous substance after giving similar to her two youngsters in Prahladpur village of Bhognipur in Kanpur Dehat district.
According to the police, girl Raveesa, spouse of Rajesh Kumar Nayak, resident of Prahladpur beneath Bhognipur Kotwali police station, after having a tiff along with her husband on Monday, allegedly gave poison to her six-year-old daughter and three-year-old son via blending it in eatables and then also ate up the similar.
The police mentioned when the members of the family noticed them in subconscious condition, they shifted them to the Community Health Centre in Pukhrayan. When their condition detriorated, they had been later referred to Lala Lajpat Rai (LLR) Hospital the place the doctors said the condition of the woman in addition to her two youngsters as vital.
The police mentioned that as in line with the neighbours, Rajesh is a street seller. "His wife Raveesa often remained depressed as his husband used to fight with her after consuming liquor", they mentioned.
"No FIR has been registered in this case as we have not yet received any complaint in this regard," mentioned Station House Officer Bhognipur.
