ALLAHABAD: The best three scorers of UP Board Class X examinations, the results of which have been announced in Allahabad on Sunday, may have belonged to agrarian families however they didn’t let their humble backgrounds prevent them from reaching their desires.

This year’s topper of UP Board Class X examinations Anjali Verma belongs to Subedar Ka Pura village and scored a whopping 96.three% within the examination.

Her father Asha Ram Verma, who's a farmer, has been the motive force in her existence. “We don't seem to be from a very well off family however my father purchased me every book I ever wanted to read. I do not know how he manages to try this,” said Anjali. She additionally gives credit for her success to her brothers, who are making ready for Civil Services. Talking about her father, Anjali said, “Wo humko ghar ka kuch kaam nahi karne dete the’ (He never allowed me to do any household chores and asked me to focus on studying as an alternative),” said Anjali.


She did her early training from a central authority number one school. On seeing her determination, her farmer rented a room in Shivkuti in Allahabad and got her enrolled in a larger school in school IX.


Anjali said she has been a meritorious student so she was once anticipating her identify in best 10 or 15 list of scorers. “However, I had no longer considered securing the first place this year.”


She needs to develop into engineer and has already taken admission in a training institute in Kota to arrange to get get ready for the entrance test performed via the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs). Yashasvi, who bagged the second one place in UP Board Class X examination via scoring 94.50%, said her farmer father got her enrolled to a ‘better school’ after she wired on ‘excellent instructional culture’. A resident of Amauli village in Fatehpur, Yashasvi said, “My father Devi Prasad helped so much whilst studying. He used to invite me to focus on studying and never asked me to do any daily chore.” The UP Board topper needs to go into the sphere of defence. “Defence has a large number of alternatives for girls. It is my youth dream to be a part of the Indian Army,” she said.


The third state topper Vinay Kumar Verma, from Mankapur Village in Sitapur, scored 94.17% within the UP Board examination. Vinay informed TOI that his father Dhani Ram, a farmer, used to scold him for studying for lengthy hours.
