MUMBAI: A fireplace broke out in a flat of a 18-storey building in Mira Road’s Kashimira on Monday night time.
Interior paintings was underway in a flat situated at the 14th flooring of Raj Estate, Jari Mari Talav, Kashimira.
Fire warring parties said that a short circuit is assumed to have led to the fireplace.
Labourers working in the flat managed to run to safety. As the smoke unfold to the upper flooring, residents managed to expire of the building.
No damage has been reported so far.
