NEW DELHI: Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Monday slammed the RSS and the BJP for the plight of Dalits and said he saluted "brothers and sisters" from the group who have hit the streets to call for protection of their rights from the Modi govt.
Gandhi's feedback got here as a number of Dalit organisations called for a nation-wide shutdown towards the dilution of arrest provisions underneath the SC/ST Atrocities Act by way of the Supreme Court.
