LUDHIANA: Want to get your using licence and even learner’s licence made? Well, you'll now need to look ahead to every other 4 months as all the slots for field tests are booked for subsequent 4 months.
The Regional Transport Office (RTO) conducts the using check for a most of 200 other people in Ludhiana district in a month. However, the site of delivery division shows no slots to be had for the following 4 months. The holders of learner’s using licence are frightened that their license may automatically get cancelled in want of slots for using check.
It is mandatory for the licence seekers to move through a stringent using check. “Getting a licence is such a tough job these days. I have been coming over here since closing five days. No slot is to be had. All my bureaucracy are ready. I'm just looking forward to the using check,” stated Kawaljeet Singh, a resident of Civil Lines.
Some other people also complained in regards to the deficient machine of having license made. “The machine to get licence made is such a tough task. There isn't any facility equipped for the licence seekers. Standing in long queues on this sizzling weather is hard. Some other people even faint due to such sizzling weather conditions,” stated Amandeep Kaur, a 21-year-old resident of Atam Nagar.
Some even complained that why should police impose challan on other people without licence, when government itself is not able to provide licence on time. “As in keeping with law, heavy challan is imposed on a person using without wearing a legitimate licence. When the federal government itself is not able to provide licences on time, why should challan be imposed on them? We can’t look ahead to months to get our licences made after which force. We produce other necessary duties in our lives than to move the involved workplace day by day and ask them to issue our licence on priority foundation. Either they should make slots to be had or supply correct facilities,” stated Jagjit Singh, a resident of Model Town.
Many also complained that the web shape is not user-friendly. “It could be very complicated to fill the web shape. Not everyone is able to fill it. It could be very tough for a person who isn’t much trained,” stated Gurpreet Kaur, a resident of Dhandari Kalan.
On talking to TOI, Lovejeet Kalsi, DTO stated, “The other people have to move by means of the machine. We can’t do the rest about it. They will have to follow the machine and wait till their appointment. We can cater to only a restricted choice of other people in a day.”
Further adding to it, Kalsi stated, “In case of any urgency, the person can come as much as me and we can get his or her using licence made on priority foundation.”
