HYDERABAD: Two workers from Odisha died of asphyxiation after breathing in some 'toxic' gas on coming into an inspection chamber of a newly laid water provide line right here lately, officers stated.
The deceased -- Vijay (25) and Santosh (28) -- had been hired in a non-public firm.
They fell subconscious once they stepped into the recently constructed chamber near the Uppal cricket stadium to remove the centering subject matter used within the construction paintings.
Co-workers introduced the two out, but they had been lifeless by means of then, Assistant Commissioner of Police G Sundeep advised PTI.
Managing Director of Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board M Dana Kishore introduced a reimbursement of Rs 10 lakh each to the households of the deceased.
He also ordered an enquiry into the incident, the officers added.
