BHUBANESWAR: The BJP Mahila Morcha, ladies's wing of the birthday party, on Thursday took out rallies in seven different puts towards "rising" incidents of rape of minors and violence targeting ladies.
Pravati Parida, the BJP ladies's wing state president, led a 'Mahila Suraksha Yatra (rally for cover of ladies)' from Managala temple at Kakaktpur. State secretary Lekhashri Samantasinghar led a rally from Bhadrakali temple in Bhadrak. "While every day children are getting raped, the Naveen government is trying to suppress the crimes instead of punishing the culprits," Samantasinghar mentioned. tnn
