Delhi honour killing: Kin spread love & peace

NEW DELHI: Almost five months after the homicide of Ankit Saxena in west Delhi’s Raghubir Nagar, his father Yashpal Saxena continues to espouse communal harmony. Yashpal, with the help of his neighbours, is helping organise Iftar for Muslims looking at Ramzan.


Saxena termed the move as some of the first steps in continuing the legacy of his son Ankit, who was murdered on February 1 by way of his girlfriend’s circle of relatives because of them being from a special neighborhood. Despite makes an attempt to flare up the situation submit the homicide, the victim’s father had referred to as in for peace and had asked that the dying must not be communalised.


The meals for Iftar is being ready by way of locals and NGOs who supported Saxena in making a believe in his son’s title. The slain photographer’s father had made up our minds that throughout the believe, he would help interfaith couples who want to get married and kids suffering to make their careers.
