GURUGRAM: The division of town and country making plans (DTCP) and discom officials will get ready and submit a proposal to the state executive for filling gaps within the city’s power infrastructure.
KM Pandurung, director-general, town and country making plans, met with the district town planner and the DHBVN officials on Tuesday and Wednesday, operating on a proposal for augmenting power infrastructure in privately-developed colonies in sectors 1 to 57. On Monday, he also met members of 16 RWAs and some non-public developers, together with South City I, Sushant Lok I, Palam Vihar, Suncity, Vipul, Vatika, Malibu Towne, Ardee City, Raheja Developers, Uppal Housing, JMD, Omaxe, Parsvnath Developers and Mayfield Gardens, to discuss the similar.
The discom officials said nearly Rs 944 crore could be needed for the challenge.
DTCP has gained a number of court cases in opposition to developers for over-calculation of load. Other RWAs complained that developers had now not advanced power infrastructure on the foundation of the demand and hence, citizens were going through frequent power cuts.
Officials plan to expedite putting in of latest substations to resolve the problem of power cuts in non-public colonies. Soon, DTCP will likely be clearing land for the same.
