IGNITE Film Festival that aimed toward selling and encouraging younger filmmakers, storytellers and inventive people and as well as creating awareness through highlighting more than a few social, political and humanist problems used to be held at a city resort on Tuesday. The theme based film festival with the theme Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao for this 12 months felicitated younger filmmakers who had taken phase in the festival. Short film “A Daughter’s Letter” made through Abhishek Swain received best possible film and best possible script along with best possible cinematography while “She is My Daughter” through Kaushik Nath received 2d best possible film and best possible enhancing award. “Be The Change”, a brief film through Santosh Panda, used to be the second runner up. Renowned filmmaker Amartya Bhattacharya and veteran reporters of national popularity Sampad Mahapatra and Sandeep Sahu were the jury individuals, who judged the films and passed over the awards.
