WASHINGTON: Former first girl Michelle Obama on Thursday unveiled the e book cover of her highly expected memoir 'BECOMING'.
The e book is scheduled to be revealed globally on November 13.
Michelle selected the quilt picture for her e book jacket from a photograph shoot that was once achieved earlier this year in Washington by way of famend portrait photographer Miller Mobley, writer Penguin said in a remark.
The 54-year-old former first girl shared on her Instagram account 4 up to now unpublished family photographs that illustrate moments in her non-public adventure of turning into the lady she is these days.
"I'm thrilled to share with all of you the cover for BECOMING," Michelle said.
"The process of writing this book has been so personally meaningful and illuminating for me. As I prepare to share BECOMING this fall, I hope you'll also think about your own story, and trust that it will help you become whoever you aspire to be. Your story is what you have, what you will always have. It is something to own," she said.
In her memoir, a work of deep reflection and mesmerising storytelling, Michelle invites readers into her world, chronicling the stories that experience shaped her--from her adolescence on the South Side of Chicago to her years as an government balancing the calls for of motherhood and work, to her time spent on the world's most famous cope with, Penguin said in a remark.
With unerring honesty and energetic wit, she describes her triumphs and her disappointments, both public and private, telling her full story as she has lived it--in her personal phrases and on her personal terms, it said.
"Warm, wise, and revelatory, BECOMING is an unusually intimate reckoning from a woman of soul and substance who has steadily defied expectations and whose story inspires us to do the same," the remark added.
