HYDERABAD: There was once a minor disruption in metro rail products and services at the Miyapur-Nagole corridor because of the deficient visibility and top speed winds recorded after rains hit the city, on Thursday. Services have been placed on hang for with regards to 50 mins, starting from 16:30 pm, to make sure protection of commuters.
According to L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited (LTMRHL) officers, commonplace products and services resumed from 17:20 pm. Officials identified because of the deficient visibility and top wind speeds, trains have been operating ‘rather slower’ than the standard speed and it took with regards to 40 mins for this to be ‘set right’.
“Due to top wind speed upto 72 kmph and deficient visibility there was once a minor disruption in metro products and services from 1630 hrs to 1720 hrs to make sure protection of commuters. We remorseful about the inconvenience and commonplace products and services have resumed from 1720 hours,” tweeted LTMRHL officers, on Thursday night.
Earlier this month, metro rail products and services at the Nagole-Ameerpet stretch have been in brief disrupted after an advertisement flex fell at the overhead equipment of the metro rail, because of the strong winds that hit the city.
