PK Banerjee on the proper wing and Chuni Goswami in the hollow in the back of the lone striker are choices which I don’t even need to give an explanation for. And Sunil Chhetri is the lone player from the present era who makes my best possible XI on the left wing. Surprised? Don’t be.
For the last 30-35 years, he is easily the most efficient Indian footballer that I've seen. Since returning from Portugal and joining Churchill Brothers, the place I was the technical director, there may be an incredible transformation. His manner has modified. At 32, are you able to really tell the variation between Sunil and any international player? I'm amazed. He is technically sound, blessed with velocity, can ranking with both feet and is not discovered missing with headers too.
IM Vijayan would stroll into any India XI, and I had penciled him in first because the lone striker in this line-up.
But later, I went for Inder Singh. Inder may just exchange the course of a fit with a second of brilliance and he will get my vote forward of Vijayan and Bhaichung Bhutia.
This is one fierce group. A group that has stability, creativity and five gamers who can get you the targets which win matches.
