MUMBAI: Allegedly reprimanded by his mother for excessive use of mobile phones and social media, a 15-year-old leapt off the 14th flooring of a Kandivli East highrise early on Tuesday. He left behind a suicide word on Instagram Stories apologising to everyone.
The boy was excellent at his studies and had cleared his Class IX tests within the IGCSE move of a Kandivli faculty.
As his folks go back and forth extensively for their go back and forth and tourism industry, the boy and his older sister spent maximum in their time with their grandfather who lived within the highrise.
Around 5.30am on Tuesday, a 10th flooring resident of the highrise was cooking when she noticed the teenager seated on the ledge of the safe haven space on the 14th flooring of the opposite wing. "I immediately called up a security guard," she told TOI. Ten minutes later, she known as up the guard again. The guard told her that he had knowledgeable his manager and the latter was on his means up. The youngster is assumed to have plunged to his demise simply as the manager reached the 14th flooring.
