BHUBANESWAR: Two youths allegedly hurled crude bombs on the state headquarters of BJP, nearly an hour after Prime Minister Narendra Modi left the state capital after addressing a public meeting in Cuttack on Saturday night time.
The miscreants have been identified as Pinaki Mohanty and Biswajit Mallik. Panki was earlier arrested for BJP’s Odisha workplace barging into the chamber of the party state president Basant Panda with a gun that was later found to be a toy.
City DCP Anup Sahu said it was a cracker. “Prima facie, it gave the impression that they had committed it to attract consideration. We are verifying the antecedents of the duo. There was no injury to assets. No one was injured in the incident,” he told TOI.
