NEW DELHI: Twenty one milk samples together with that of Amul and Mother Dairy have turned out to be sub-standard throughout assessments carried out through the Delhi government, Health Minister Satyendar Jain mentioned on Friday.
Jain told the media that these samples were not unsafe, but didn't have the prescribed levels of parts like fat amongst others.
The assessments were finished on 165 samples gathered from across the town between April 13 and April 28. Out of those, 21 samples were discovered to be sub-standard, the minister mentioned.
He additionally mentioned that all the cases shall be forwarded to the courtroom, adding that a penalty ranging from Rs five,000 to Rs five lakh could be imposed.
