BENGALURU: A 30-year-old woman allegedly murdered her two sons — one in every of them a baby — via throwing them right into a lake, earlier than she committed suicide via jumping into the waterbody near Kalkere, Magadi on Sunday.
Sujata Anjanamurthy had left her place of abode in Tavarekere with her sons A Nakula, four, and A Vishal, three, in tow. “She visited a relative’s house and then took phase in ‘Oora Habba’, a competition within the locality, on Saturday night and Sunday morning,” Magadi police said. “After lunch, she took her sons and walked towards the lake in Kalkere.”
When the three did not go back home, family fastened a seek. “When a seek party reached the lake, they found sneakers belonging to the three and suspected the trio may have drowned,” police said.
Sujata’s folks instructed police they don't believe Anjanamurthy, Sujata’s husband and a farmer via career, was accountable. “The explanation why behind the extraordinary step isn't referred to as there is not any loss of life note,” police said.
