Gurgaon: In an attempt to highlight the federal government’s apathy towards resident’s lawsuits, a Gurgaon farmer has positioned a large bet to get the state govt’s consideration. Krishan Lamba positioned a cheque of Rs 10 lakh along with his complaint, and submitted it to the CM Window on February 18. He alleged an acre of land at the start earmarked for a gaushala in Chauma village, has been illegally occupied via local land mafia in connivance with MCG officials.
A replica of the complaint, accessed via TOI, states the federal government can en-cash the Rs 10 lakh cheque if the complaint is located invalid, and use it underneath the CM Relief Fund. However, if the complaint is legitimate, the federal government will have to act towards those involved.
“This land used to be previous underneath the village panchayat. It used to be later transferred to MCG. Subsequently, local land mafia, along with some MCG officials, have encroached on an acre of the land marked for the gaushala,” stated Lamba. He added he's certain of the scam and sought after the federal government to act on it in an instant, hence the gesture of hanging the cheque within the complaint.
Lamba was the village sarpanch years in the past. Now he does farming and is involved with social issues. “I made the complaint just because I noticed one thing flawed happening. Beyond that, I don't have any connection with the land,” stated Lamba.
His gesture did have the required effect, as the matter caught leader minister Manohar Lal Khattar’s consideration, who has now ordered an inquiry into the matter.
“The leader minister has requested us to habits and inquiry into the role of officials, and put up the document inside the following few weeks,” stated MCG commissioner Yashpal Yadav.
On Saturday, Lamba used to be called to the district complaint committee assembly in Khattar’s presence. “My matter used to be listed within the assembly, and I used to be called there within the presence of the CM. I used to be told an FIR has been filed towards those involved,” stated Lamba.
The FIR has been filed underneath sections 188 (disobedience of order via public servant), 447 (felony trespass) and 34 (not unusual intent) of the IPC, towards three folks — Surender Mandal, Sunil Gulia and Upender Malik — all citizens of Chauma village. Lamba though is not absolutely glad but, as no action has been taken towards MCG officials who he alleged are involved within the fraud.
“While they've filed a police complaint towards the land mafia, there's no point out of the officials involved,” stated Lamba.
