Mumbai: Monorail cost rises by Rs 236 crore

MUMBAI: The undertaking cost of all the 20-km monorail hall has long gone up via Rs 236 crore over the planned Rs 2,460 crore, and the gadget is not even running nowadays for want of good enough stock of spare portions. “We are but to finalise the date for commissioning of the hall,” an MMRDA respectable mentioned on Thursday. “We are seeking to fulfil the suggestions of the safety commissioner on spare portions.”
