NEET: Stalin seeks apology from CBSE

CHENNAI: DMK operating president M Okay Stalin on Monday wanted the CBSE to apologise for “illtreating Tamil Nadu students” once they participated within the NEET entrance examination on Sunday.

The strategies used for frisking the students made it glance as if Tamil Nadu students indulged in malpractices all over exams, he advised journalists after overseeing development works in his Kolathur assembly constituency.


A solution were passed via the Tamil Nadu legislative assembly to exempt the state from the purview of NEET and the same were forwarded to the Centre for acquiring the President’s nod. Steps must be taken to get the President’s ascent to the same at the earliest, Stalin stated.


“Those indulging in corruption are development a memorial for an accused,” Stalin stated reacting to the transfer via the Tamil Nadu government to build a memorial for former chief minister J Jayalalithaa at a cost of Rs 50 crore.


“Jayalalithaa has been proved guilty and he or she was the number one accused within the case and has been convicted in it. This is against democratic norms,” Stalin stated, while responding to the query on chief minister Edappadi Okay Palaniswami and deputy chief minister O Panneerselvam participating at a serve as to put the root stone for Jayalalithaa’s memorial on Monday morning.
