KOLKATA: Several amendments to the Goods and Services Tax legislation could be positioned ahead of Parliament in the Monsoon Session, a senior reliable stated on Monday.
"There are several amendments to the GST which is proposed to come up during the Monsoon Session of Parliament," GST Council Special Secretary Arun Goyal stated right here at a seminar organised by way of the Merchants' Chamber of Commerce.
He instructed PTI that no less than over a dozen pending amendments is geared toward easing operational functioning of the GST.
Goyal also stated that the intra-state e-way invoice machine will be be rolled out around the nation by way of June 3.
A total of 20 states have already carried out the e-way invoice machine, dates of which has observed a number of deferments in the recent past.
