‘Siddaramaiah’s schemes received negative publicity’

MYSURU: Chairman of Mysore Paints and Varnish Ltd (MPVL) HA Vankatesh on Monday attributed the Congress’ deficient efficiency in the meeting elections to the unfavorable publicity given to former chief minister Siddaramaiah’s schemes.
The MPVL chairman mentioned that each Siddaramaiah, and Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president G Parameshwara had worked for the upliftment of the state. On the lukewarm reaction to the bandh call given by means of the BJP, he mentioned, “People of the state, together with the farmers, have rejected the BJP’s call.”

Former Krishnaraja MLA MK Somashekar, whilst conceding defeat, mentioned that he had finished nearly 90% of the initiatives he had initiated in the constituency. “I accept defeat. Ultimately, voter is the king in a democracy. I'm grateful to birthday celebration staff and citizens of the segment,” Somashekar mentioned.


On the protest he had staged, through which he had alleged tampering of EVMs for his defeat, Somashekar mentioned, “Investigation is underneath method. I've complained to the Election Commission about EVMs being hacked, and I will comment simplest as soon as the probe is complete.”


Condoling the death of Congress’ Jamkhandi MLA Siddu Nyamagouda, who was once killed in a street coincidence on Monday, Somashekar mentioned, “We are extremely sad. He would were made a minister in the coalition govt had he been alive.”


Former mayor Purushottam, in the meantime, lamented the function cash and muscle power had started to play in elections.
