LUDHIANA: The Dehlon police have arrested truck driver Ranjit Singh and labourer Jagdeep Singh close to Jaspal Bangar Road on Thursday for killing a 21-year-old migrant labourer, Ravi Kumar Mishra, with a sharp-edged weapon on Tuesday. Both the accused are drug addicts and started snatchings to shop for medicine. They have been booked in two extra snatching instances.
In the wee hours of May 22, two bike-borne males attacked Ravi in Kanganwal house of Sahnewal, when he and his brother Abhishek (23) — who paintings in the same manufacturing unit as labourers — had been returning home. The duo attempted to grasp their mobiles, but Ravi resisted, and virtually grabbed one in every of them, and then they started thrashing the duo.
