COIMBATORE: A girl bravely fought off a leopard to save lots of her 11-year-old daughter at Valparai within the district, police stated on Saturday.
Thirty-year-old Muthulakshmi, along with her daughter Sathya, were choosing firewood within the backyard of their area remaining evening, when the feline pounced at the girl and began dragging it away through her neck, they stated.
Immediately, Muthulakshmi hit the leopard so onerous with the firewood that the animal let go of the woman and fled into the jungle, the police stated.
