Worry, fear in Iran ahead of Trump's decision on atomic deal

TEHRAN, IRAN: Residents of Tehran concern ahead of President Donald Trump's resolution this week on whether to drag America out of the nuclear take care of Iran.

Exchange shop home windows that once showed charges for Iranian rial to US buck transactions have long gone clean, as black-market charges have skyrocketed to 70,000 rials to the buck, far upper than the newly government-imposed price of 42,000 for $1.

Busy shopping districts that once noticed newlyweds purchasing fridges and different major appliances now largely stand empty as people save their money. Some communicate overtly about leaving the country for anyplace else.

The sense of foreboding ahead of Saturday's deadline on what the USA will do concerning the deal is a far cry from the jubilant street celebrations that greeted the 2015 nuclear accord with global powers.
