27 govt employees found absent in surprise checking

LUDHIANA: On the orders of deputy commissioner Pradeep Kumar Agrawal, a wonder checking of various government places of work used to be carried out via separate officials on Friday. Assistant Commissioner (Grievances) Kanu Garg knowledgeable that 27 staff of the various departments have been found absent during the checking.


She mentioned, “Check used to be conducted in government places of work including Divisional Excise and Taxation Commissioner, assistant excise and taxation commissioners (I, II and III), District Public Relations Officer, District Welfare Officer, District Treasury Officer, Deputy Economical and Statistical Advisor, District Education Officers (Primary and Secondary), Election Officers and others through which 27 staff had been found absent. Administration is writing to the concerned departments to do so towards the absentee and such kind of irresponsible angle would not be tolerated” Garg also added that such wonder checking would also be accomplished in long term to streamline the on-time attendance of the federal government staff.
