LUCKNOW: UP STF arrested 45 other folks from five districts for rigging the UP Police constable recruitment examination that was once conducted on Tuesday. While 23 other folks had been arrested by means of STF in Meerut, 11had been arrested in Saharanpur, 9 in Aligarh and one each and every in Shamli and Varanasi.
In all, 78 other folks were arrested around the state within the crackdown since Sunday together with each STF and district police units. The crackdown was once first began by means of UP STF with arrest of 3 other folks from Gorakhpur on Sunday night time. Later, Allahabad police also followed raids and arrested three. On Monday, STF arrested 17 from Gorakhpur and Allahabad, whilst different district police units arrested 16.

ADG law and order Anand Kumar stated, “All efforts to leak and cheat in examinations held at 860 centres in 56 districts had been foiled.” SSP STF Abhishek Singh stated that the miscreants attempted to use cutting edge tips like breaking the biometric system by means of making pretend thumb impressions and photoshop on admit playing cards. “Attempts to leak the paper like annually happened from the state of Bihar best,” stated Singh.
