Allahabad has left a long-lasting impact on me: Prakruti Mishra

Odiya actress Prakrurti Mishra, who's taking part in an Allahabadi in her newest TV show 'Bitti Business Wali', says she took a large number of inspiration and tips from other folks in Allahabad to painting her character within the show. In Allahabad recently to shoot an episode of the show, Prakruti met locals and observed them closely to imbibe their mannerisms and means of talking into her character. The actress who got a Special Mention at the 65th National Awards for her appearing within the Odiya film 'Hello Arsi', says, "Interactions with the people of the Sangam city helped me in essaying the character of Bitti Business Wali. I like everything about Allahabad, from its custom to cuisine to culture. The city is serene, calm and there is no rush like that of Mumbai. The city has left a long-lasting impact on me."

She additional provides, "Apart from its custom and culture, it is the mouthwatering spicy chaat and fulki of Allahabad which I will miss in Mumbai. The weather is also good here."

Shown to be a hardworking woman who strives to be financially independent, Prakruti says she too believes within the philosophy of women being self-reliant and self-dependent. "I believe financial independence of a woman is necessary for their empowerment. Women should aspire to become economically strong to sustain their family, society and the country," she emphasizes.
