Bar on UP Board expert over question on teachers' laxity

ALLAHABAD: The professional who framed the controversial question - "lax attitude of government primary teachers" - in school XII tests of Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board (UP Board), has been barred from setting papers for existence at the recommendation of a panel probing the problem.

Besides, he would now not be paid for the paintings accomplished by him.


The resolution was once taken after the professional submitted a written apology to the probe panel and likewise requested that he be relieved of paper setting paintings in long term. The panel agreed and forwarded its resolution to bar the professional to Board chairman Sahab Singh Niranjan, who authorized the recommendation.


Secretary, UPSEB, Neena Srivastava mentioned, "The chairman has approved the recommendation of the probe panel set up to look into the issue. The subject expert has sought an apology and asked to be relieved from all exam related work in future, which has been accepted."


Board officials mentioned his title has been saved confidential as the Board has a policy of now not figuring out his its paper setters.
