MUMBAI:The first ranking cutoff for level colleges saw scholars from the CBSE board hogging the merit list in most sensible town colleges.
Scores in minority institutes dipped marginally as reservation for backward class scholars was done away with, thus doubling the pool of seats to be had for open class applicants.
Cut-offs greater by means of about 2-4% in fashionable nonminority colleges, particularly for unaided professional courses like BMS and BSc (IT). In blue-chip colleges like HR, Jai Hind, Mithibai and St Xavier’s, cut-offs fell by means of a couple of percent issues but remained high as in comparison to 2017’s first admission list.
At Xavier’s College, to get into a BA programme required scholars to attain a 98% and 92.46%, if applicants were from the HSC board.
