Cops to review files destroyed in Scindia fire

MUMBAI: Three days after a fire broke out at Scindia House, a five-storey heritage structure in the place of business precinct of Ballard Estate, the police on Monday recorded the observation of the ones provide on the web site on the day of the blaze.

As part of the probe, the police are looking ahead to a report from the income-tax place of business about which documents have been burnt. The I-T department is probing some high-profile cases.

On Monday, a police group and team of workers from the state forensic science laboratory inspected the web site to establish if there used to be any sabotage.

Fire officials stated the blaze started on the third ground, which properties the investigation unit of the I-T department.
