GHAZIABAD: An 80-year-old retired further district pass judgement on on Friday allegedly committed suicide by way of shooting himself in Nehru Nagar colony right here, police mentioned.
Dev Dutt Sharma used to be reportedly suffering from despair after the death of his spouse, SP (City) Akash Tomar mentioned.
A gunshot used to be heard early on Friday morning following which the members of the family rushed to his room to find Sharma's body mendacity in a pool of blood on his bed close to his double-barrel licensed gun, the SP mentioned.
No suicide word used to be recovered from the spot, he added.
