BENGALURU: Sanatan Sanstha, a Goa-based pro-Hindu organisation, has alleged that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the Gauri Lankesh murder case is torturing suspects and acquiring confessions from them.
The Sanstha had come below the SIT scanner after a few arrested individuals reportedly admitted to being contributors of a radical Hindu outfit which had links with it.
Sanstha spokesperson Chethan Rajhans, in a press free up on Thursday, termed the arrests unlawful and said it was being carried out by means of the Congress-JD(S) coalition to amplify “saffron terrorism”.
