BENGALURU: She may be listening to impaired but that hasn’t stopped her from being adventurous. Archana Timmaraju, 33, is back in the city after completing a 8,300km motorbike ride to Ladakh.
Hailing from Andhra Pradesh, Archana studied in St John’s School, Bengaluru, and later did her masters in metal sculpting from Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath. Other than sculpting, Archana also teaches artwork at Mallya Aditi International School.
“I began riding at 21 and haven’t looked back since. The aim of this tour — Journey to Inspire — was once to inspire the listening to impaired and encourage more women to ride bikes,” she mentioned.
Archana was once accompanied by means of her good friend and colleague Daniel Sundaram, a geography trainer, on the adventure that began on April 29 and culminated at Freedom Parkon Might29. She rode a Royal Enfield, while Daniel was once on a KTM motorbike.
When requested about Archana’s feat, her mom Sita Mahalakshmi mentioned: “We were not scared in any respect.Archana made video calls to us each day and shared her location live so we knew the place she was once. I am extraordinarily happy with her.”
