NEW DELHI: Equity markets on Wednesday mopped up the losses incurred on Tuesday as Sensex and Nifty regained key psychological marks.
30-share BSE Sensex closed at 35,547.33, up 260.59 points while the broader 50-share NSE Nifty regained the 10,750-mark shifting up more than zero.70 per cent. The spurt came on again of global cues which got again its steam.
All sectoral sub-indices except for FMCG and IT finished within the green on Wednesday with steel and monetary carrier stocks gaining essentially the most.
Reliance Industries, IndusInd Bank, Yes Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank stocks crowned the charts.
