SURAT: A kidnapping scene from Bollywood flick Baaghi II triggered a businessman’s eight-year-old lady to show the sexual attacks on her, allegedly by means of a 53-year-old man, who used to be their neighbour.
Rander police arrested Vinod Upadhyay, a resident of Palanpur Patiya, for allegedly sodomizing the lady and molesting her several occasions over the last 8 months.
“While observing a Baghi II not too long ago, the lady witnessed a scene where a girl used to be being abducted. This triggered her to narrate her ordeal to her father and he or she described how Upadhyay had ceaselessly lured her to his space and forced her into unnatural and oral intercourse. Shocked oldsters puzzled the lady in detail and after confirming about Upadhyay’s crime, they approached the police,” stated a senior officer of Rander police station.
Upadhyay used to vada paav, alu puri and chocolates as allurements to take the lady to his space. He started taking her ceaselessly on the pretext of educating drawing when there used to be no person at house. The accused has a 24-year-old daughter. Police stated that Upadyay and the accused’s households have been on very good terms.
Police booked Upadhyay underneath various Sections of Indian Penal Code together with 376 (rape) and 377 (unnatural intercourse). He works as a part-time typist and reside along with his wife and 24-year-old daughter.
“The survivor described the attacks in detail to police,” the officer stated. The little lady didn't understand what Upadhyay used to be doing and hence she didn't tell her oldsters to start with.
