ALLAHABAD: Kaushambi police, on Wednesday, arrested two persons for allegedly hiring contract killers to get their oldsters murdered in Sarai Akil house. An FIR has also been lodged in opposition to the 2 brothers.
As in step with police reviews, Molai Pasi (50) and his spouse Dukhini Devi (30) have been found murdered of their house in Sarai Akil locality in Kaushambi on June 6.
Their sons Jagatpal and Chandrapal had called the police and the previous had filed a grievance with the police on the foundation of which an FIR used to be lodged in opposition to unidentified persons.
SP (Kaushambi) Pradeep Gupta said Devi used to be Molai Pasi's 2d spouse and the 2 had been married recently.
Pasi's sons Jagatpal and Chandrapal have been allegedly unhappy with the wedding as their father used to be looking to transfer a five-bigha plot of land, which belonged to Pasi, beneath Dukhni Devi's name. The two have been pressuring their father to transfer the land beneath their names. However, after Pasi refused to do the same, the brothers determined to homicide their oldsters.
"Jagatpal employed Shailendra Kumar and Sandeep Kumar for killing their oldsters and paid them Rs 30,000 for the activity. The day their oldsters have been murdered, the brothers went out of the village in order that they'd an alibi,' said the SP.
"During probe, we had zeroed in on the two brothers after their suspicious actions following the homicide. Acting on a tip off, we nabbed the 2 and during interrogation they divulged the name of contract killers, following which the latter have been also nabbed," he said.
