MUMBAI: Former media govt Indrani Mukerjea, a key accused within the homicide case of her daughter Sheena Bora, used to be admitted to JJ Hospital in Mumbai ultimate on Friday after she complained of chest pain, docs mentioned on Saturday.
The 46-year-old co-founder of INX media, lodged in Byculla women's prison since her arrest in 2015, used to be dropped at the state-run clinical facility at 11.30pm with a "history of chest pain and discomfort", SD Nanandkar, JJ Hospital dean, advised newshounds.
Mukerjea underwent a series of clinical tests after she used to be admitted to the critical care unit (CCU) of the sanatorium, he mentioned.
"Accordingly, a scientific analysis used to be finished. ECG (electrocardiogram) confirmed gentle changes (in heart rhythm), whilst her chest X-ray document used to be standard.
"Her MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) test document of the neck used to be awaited. Her situation is not serious. Some tests associated with cardiology are pending," Nanandkar mentioned.
Mukerjea will be discharged in two to three days and till then, she will remain within the CCU, he added.
This is the second time in two months that Mukerjea has been admitted to the sanatorium.
In April, Mukerjea used to be admitted to the sanatorium in a "semi-conscious" situation.
She due to this fact underwent a series of clinical tests. The sanatorium government had then mentioned she had an overdose of anti-depressants that weren't prescribed to her.
