North Central Railways initiates steps to improve punctuality

ALLAHABAD: With the purpose of making improvements to the punctuality of the mail and specific trains operating below North Central Railways (NCR), the government have made up our minds to speed up of trains by means of reducing the stoppage time at stations, and diverting goods trains with the intention to decongest one of the most congested sections on the phase.

Similarly, diversion of North Eastern Railway-bound goods trains from Jhansi-Agra-Tundla-Aligarh to Jhansi-Agra-Mathura-Kasganj course is also planned. This interchange is planned to be increased to 12 trains in line with day from 6 at the moment, thereby decongesting the oversaturated Agra-Tundla-Aligarh phase and making improvements to punctuality on this phase additionally.
