Coimbatore: The highways department is working at the evaluation of land that must be received for the western ring street mission in round seven of the 16 villages by which the road will move.
Officials from the department stated they've already notified the land acquisition main points for 2 villages – Theethipalayam and Perur Chettipalayam. A complete of round zero.25 sqkm (2,51,640 sq.) can be received from the villages. Of this, 15,2150 sq. can be received from Theethipalayam and 99,490 from Perur Chettipalayam. A complete of one.42 sq.km – more than 350 acres – will probably be received from 16 villages for the mission.
The highways department would spend Rs 320 crore to acquire these lands, officials stated. “We are getting ready records for the other villages. We will complete bureaucracy for 5 different villages soon and would notify the land acquisition procedures. We expect the paintings to be complete by way of July,” an legitimate stated. Two special land acquisition groups had been shaped for the paintings. Tahsildars of the particular blocks, by which the road will move, will contain within the evaluation paintings.

The 32.43km-long ring street will connect Sugunapuram on Salem-Kochi Road to Narasimhanaickenpalayam on Mettupalayam Road. It will move through Siruvani Road at Chellappa Goundan Pudur, Thondamuthur Road at Dhaliyur and Anaikatti Road at Kanuvai.
The officials plan to finish the mission in levels. The first phase from Salem-Kochi Road to Siruvani Road (11.8km) will probably be finished first, adopted by way of the 7.3km stretch from Siruvani Road to Maruthamalai Road after which the 13.3km stretch from Maruthamalai Road to Mettupalayam Road.
