ALLAHABAD: Getting permission for taking part in DJs in occasions like marriage, birthdays, and so forth., at guesthouses and hostels is more straightforward now. He added, “ If an application is rejected by means of the SDM, both the applicant and police station involved would get the information online in regards to the rejection.”
Singh mentioned, “The applicant should online publish all details including title, everlasting cope with, cell, electronic mail, collection of DJs\loudspeakers sought, nature of programme – religious, cultural, marriage or party, title of location, nature of spot – residential, commercial, commercial and other zone along with length of taking part in musical instruments, open or closed hall and details of DJ loudspeaker house owners.”
The applicant also have to apply the norms of Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control Rules) 2000, while the usage of DJ or loudspeakers or the applicant could be punished for five years imprisonment and Rs one lakh effective or both for violation of norms.
Singh mentioned that the quantity of the DJs or loudspeakers could be between 10 decibel and 75 decibel or the applicant could be charged with violation of noise pollution regulations. “On failing to satisfy the norms, police could record a case underneath section 182 of IPC and other Act against the defaulter for violating norms,” he added.
Incidentally, the state authorities have ordered elimination of loudspeakers or other sound producing apparatus from religious or public places if permission for the same used to be now not been sought.
