AHMEDABAD: The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has issued notices to Prahlad Modi, the brother of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, for wearing out development near his public distribution machine shop in Rabari Colony.
The company officials claimed that the construction through Modi was illegal and hence they'd on earlier instance too requested him to forestall the construction and get his plan approved. But since he continued with the construction, the 3rd and ultimate notice has been issued and then the AMC will pull down the illegal construction.
Modi, who's in Chhattisgarh, mentioned that he has learnt from his resources that the "notice has been issued to me". “I had were given the illegal development regularised after paying the impact fee, but in 2015 I realised that the construction would possibly collapse any time and hence I wrote a letter to the property division of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation asking them come and seek advice from and certify that the construction was old. But no one from the AMC stricken to seek advice from the same and in any case the construction collapsed.”
He says that luckily no one was injured or else it would have created a major controversy. "I then began the construction because it was regularised through the AMC most effective after accumulating the impact fee. Now they've woken up abruptly and are issuing notices,” he says.
It is price recalling that Prahlad Modi, who's the president of Gujarat Fair Price Shop Owners and Kerosene Licence Holder Association, had in 2017 threatened that each one fair stores owners in Gujarat would move on an indefinite strike if the Centre failed to simply accept their demand that shop owners be allowed to promote gas below Ujala scheme because the Centre has lowered the kerosene inventory despatched to Gujarat. He has been preventing to avail financial assistance for the higher training of shopkeepers’ children.
