Rain gods smile on Delhi a day in advance

NEW DELHI: The much-awaited monsoon arrived in Delhi on Thursday, an afternoon ahead of the anticipated date, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) mentioned.
The town enjoyed its first monsoon showers that despatched the mercury down a few notches underneath the normal.
