PATNA: For countering Maoism or left wing extremism (LWE) in Bihar, safety forces have adopted psychological struggle technique by way of ‘educating’ family members' of cadres of CPI (Maoist) about their millionaire leaders via public campaigns held in core Maoist infested villages of Gaya, Aurangabad, Banka, Jamui and Lakhisarai.
Sources said provision to counter LWE via psychological struggle was already provide on national level, but safety forces across a number of states including Bihar set to work on it in closing three-four months.
